jo&co "Walks the Virtual Walk" as Focus of NPR "Changing Face of America" Series

www.joandco.com - March 28, 2001 - As testament to its leadership in pioneering the virtual work model, Johnson & Company, The Virtual Agency™ is expected to be spotlighted Friday, March 30 in a new National Public Radio (NPR) Morning Edition series titled "The Changing Face of America." The series, produced by "Talk of the Nation" and "All Things Considered," covers forces that are changing the lives of Americans. This edition targets Johnson & Company's unique operations as a 100% virtual business.

With home-based associates spanning four time zones, Johnson & Company (jo&co) services the high-stakes marketing and public relations needs of high-technology clients. To capture the vibrancy of Johnson's trademark virtual agency model, NPR's award-winning journalist and 20-year veteran David Molpus joined jo&co associates at a quarterly retreat where they met face-to-face for brainstorming, training and mentoring focused on the company's Superior Execution™ Model designed to optimize client and company satisfaction. To include the client perspective of the virtual work model, Molpus interviewed representatives of jo&co's charter client Helius.

The NPR story comes as one of several coups for jo&co in March. Investor's Business Daily (March 22) and The Industry Standard (March 12) also featured jo&co this month. Additionally, the Salt Lake City Area Chamber of Commerce honored the PR company with the 2001 Giant Step Award for Home-based Business Success, which included prominent position on a downtown billboard. "What Johnson & Company consistently delivers for industry-leading clients is strategic marketing results and 'buzz' or attention of this nature," says Jennifer J. Johnson, principal and "Chief Virtualist."
